Review on 🔊 Zealot S1: Waterproof Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker with Bike Mount and Power Bank - Red by Bruce Marable

The price is the main reason I bought the Zealot Blue Tooth bicycle headlight. It is made in China. For $27, I get what I need at half the price of comparable devices. Second, I love having a Blue Tooth connection to play music on my phone while cycling: the 2005 Giant Revive. There is a mini SD card slot. It's good to have a spotlight. It has the ability to play FM music. The Zealot can also be connected using the 3.5 inch cable connector that comes with the Zealot. The device is rechargeable and comes with a USB charging cable. It is attached to the handlebars of the bicycle with a plastic clip.1. The blue tooth function works very well. Zealot says it has a maximum range of 10 meters, but I've found it stays connected for twice that distance.2. The headlight has an LED that appears bright, but the optics create a hotspot, or dense pattern, that limits any peripheral vision. The rest of the pattern is widely branched but very boring.3. The FM radio is designed to work with the charging cable connected to the device, but its performance is not satisfactory. The device searches for available channels, but it is very difficult to fix them.4. Hard wired connection works well.5. Charging the battery takes several hours. The device gives alarms when the battery is low. The speaker volume becomes weak.6. The device is attached to the bicycle handlebars with a plastic clamp, which in my opinion is of very dubious quality. It's also quick to remove with a screw mount embedded in the floor. The alignment of the headlight can be adjusted with a lockable ball head. But on the other hand, it's also all cheap and shouldn't be put to rough use in my opinion. The top of the Zealot has a silicone plug that covers the openings that allow water to enter. It is difficult to close, so it is waterproof.8. The sound quality is very good. Bass and treble are equally balanced, but there's no way to adjust them. The volume is sufficient for cycling at low speeds or in quieter environments. There are times I don't hear it. In fact, you can orient the speaker so you can hear better. I would not recommend Zealot to a friend. Update 6-5-21, Zealot's plastic clip broke today. it is not repairable. I was afraid this would happen. The clamp is very cheap. The zealot should pay attention to Mount Baran. The rating has been reduced significantly because of the mount. I also had to deal with the ball and the jack. It does not hold the device in a comfortable position for use. A small bump or two will let it sag. I found a collar instead of a cheap collar. This is a ChromLives super clamp. Works great, all metal construction, reasonable price.
