Review on Japanese Nylon Beading Thread Delica Beading & Jewelry Making and Beading Supplies by Barbara Simmons

I bought this thread for threading to give the impression of fine gold wire. Unfortunately this thread doesn't work that way - it doesn't look metallic (just has a satin finish but still looks very much like fabric. Looks like mustard/dark brass. Perhaps it could work with light copper, brass gold, beads and components in Bronze, dark sand, mustard, or caramel colors, otherwise they would stand out. I know that Miyuki makes orange-yellow gold beads, so this thread can complement those shades. The shape of the thread is on the flat side, not round, and it's thinner than my size D Nymo thread which is good for multiple passes, especially fine work at size 15/0. Also (unlike Nymo) it doesn't seem to fray fringe colors and doesn't display a neutral gold tone, like I thought. My quest for a truly metallic gold tone thread continues.
