Review on Enhance Your Off-Road Lighting with MICTUNING Universal License Plate Mounting Bracket Front Bull Bar Bumper by Rick Rownd

Cute, although more of a "pork pusher " than a "bullfish "

The title speaks for itself. This is nice and will do the trick as it provides a platform to place more lights on. In my case I'm going to move the headlights mounted directly above them down to the mounting points and then add a light bar to the bumper where my little spots are currently mounted. It is important NOT to take this as a bullish band even though it appears under these keywords. Taurus will not notice this; It is made of very thin aluminum and is very easy to bend or fold. But to provide a mounting platform for additional lighting and still look pretty cool, this thing will do. INSTALLATION: Please note that some drilling and/or modification may be required. In my case, I drilled new holes in the bumper to countersink it since my existing license plate holes weren't *quite* in the right place to line up with the mounting holes on this one. I personally didn't care; I have no problem drilling my 91 Ranger STX, but some people may have problems with it. I also had to bend the main bracket because 90° from the front of my bumper it was facing down, so I widened the angle of the bracket to about 120° to place the bracket parallel to the ground. Again, I don't really care about this, but some might have trouble with it. To conclude, we note that the finish is not very good. The item arrived with some blisters of black paint and one area was completely missing (the aluminum seemed to have an oil streak when it hit the paint so the paint didn't stick there). I deduct a star for that; In my case I don't care because I'll be polishing it anyway to match my paintwork, but it definitely speaks to Mictuning's quality control.
