Fantastic Core Set

Let me start by saying I'm a hobbyist who loves to try new things all the time. I'm an amateur in every sense of the word. But I am curious and like to learn new things and pursue new hobbies. And from time to time over the past year or so it's been watercolors. I started with student paints (Koi). It was pretty good, but the more I learned about watercolor paints, the more I wanted to experiment with quality paints and learn how to mix colors. Since then I have collected many paints in both student and art quality. There is definitely a difference between them. In my humble opinion, this is a great set to start with. There is a warm and cool version of the three primary colors, all with the same pigment. If you want to dive into color harmony and color mixing, start here. In fact, when interested friends ask me if I should start painting with watercolors, I am happy to recommend this set to others. It's economical and logical. For now I'm putting all my other watercolor palettes aside and concentrating on these 6 colors. I have filled 9 well ceramic pallets. And I regularly spray more paint as needed. And I can easily erase the fade areas. Don't worry about the coloring. I've used them on traditional watercolor paper, Bristol paper and even a few pages in a coloring book. The brilliance of these colors is beautiful on any of these surfaces. I am attaching a few photos.
