I used this to push a pegboard away from the wall. You are of great value. The spacers sold for perforated boards are more expensive and actually more difficult to keep in place. I used 4x8" perforated boards so I glued spacers to the back of the board before leaning it against the wall. These spacers stay in place and hold the board to the wall for me to attach the perforated board clips and The only problem is that the screwdriver was set with too much torque, some of the standoffs have pushed all the way into the drywall causing the perforated plate to be too tight against the wall at those points.
