Honestly I'm not sure what I would ever use the skinny ones for, but if you go 3rd in the top row then go down 1, got it I connector uses 16 gauge wire with female/male adapters on the end. This size fits right into the adapter I'm crimping. Then comes the 2nd top row, go down 1. Use it for some smaller wires like 12 and 16 gauge by simply splicing 2 wires together. I'm not sure what I could ever use the smaller ones for and it seems like a waste to even have them, but as you can see by looking at different heat shrink tubing. almost nobody has details on how they fit into real world scenarios. Just different sizes and the smaller ones seem to get the most. Anyway, I recently wired up some connectors and wires for a project for my car and this kit came in very handy. After heating, they all become clean and take shape under them. I don't see heat activated adhesion in them like the more expensive brands but I don't need that as a feature as my projects didn't need them at all and were more OCD related. reasons to delete it. I like her. If I run out of the ones I need I will just reorder this kit for those sizes as the quality is what I need at the best price I could find!
