🔧 DeWalt DXCM024 0344 Dual-Layer Premium Rubber Review

Wow. Literally anything can be said. Installed this Monday. And just shot a "factory forged" fitting right past my face and almost smashed a customer's window. What a MONEY LOSS!

I looked at the 3/8 model and saw that it was only a few dollars more. A wise person would pay attention to height and weight. Not me. The hose seems to be of good quality and the metal is thick. Should last for years.

I wonder if DeWalt will pay for wall repairs if you follow the drill pattern provided. ATTENTION, it does not match the holes (see pictures). Looks like they printed the PDF and chose the 'Fit' option instead of 'Print as is'. Otherwise a decent product. Pretty damn heavy, but durable. I was able to quickly remove the screws and turn it from the right wall mount to the left.

Box and contents damaged on arrival. Total waste of my time. The box is clearly damaged. The spool was bent, looks like used. The box was clearly sealed. The inner foam has broken. I also noticed that the hoses were marked with black markers. It MUST be previously opened or used. Not cool. I don't get any other either. The hose is made in China and looks cheap. I'll just bite the bullet and get a prettier role.

The hose isn't as good quality as I need for the 1/2" size. The smaller hose might work better as it doesn't get tangled as easily, so I might try the Dewalt again with the smaller one Rubber hose to use and see.The big problem is that it has been opened and taken out and used before as it had a scratch and dirt marks on the hose and the packaging was definitely resealed a few times when I received it.Return better need to check.

Although I have used these in my private garage I needed a quality hose reel and I was able to get them with this one. It is built suitably for a commercial/industrial business. Air line of the highest quality. The heavy duty air line is a bit difficult to twist, so I found a shorter, lighter hose that was more convenient to use between the included Dewalt air line and the air tools I use. drain hose. I installed it on my work truck and 15 minutes after first use the hose ruptures when 120psi is put through it, hitting my face and shattering my glasses. Okay, maybe the crimp was too tight. I fixed it, and again the tubing doesn't break as badly, but still tears enough that it has to be spliced over and over again, and you guessed it again. I've mounted this on my garage wall. The hose is very durable despite being heavy. This is probably overkill for air tools due to the weight and stiffness of the hose. I bought this to use with my large air compressor so it would go to my sprinkler valve to flush the sprinkler lines. The reel makes a well-made and durable impression. The only criticism of the reel relates to the design of the hose guide rollers. If you pull the corner of the rails, the hose will twist and become difficult to…

We attach adapters to each end and use these hoses and DeWalt 1/2" kennel water rollers (3/8" hose has very little water pressure). This is the 3rd one we installed. The recoil latch on one of them broke after 3 years of daily use but I was able to fix it. Another had the gasket installed incorrectly and leaked when new, but that too was easily fixed. I ordered this to get rid of those annoying hose twists in the shop, but I've been joking about what I thought my hose dimensions were. I thought I had 1/2 and 3/8 settings but when it arrived I realized I had 3/8 and 1/4 settings. The plan was to mount it on the ceiling, but at almost 50 pounds I scrapped that idea and made a bracket and shelf to mount it directly to the compressor. Works like a champ. It's not that you can't hang this from the ceiling, but you definitely need a second pair of
