Review on 🔧 DeWalt DXCM024 0344 Dual-Layer Premium Rubber by Brad Schaefer

I ordered this to get rid of those annoying hose twists in the shop, but I've been joking about what I thought my hose dimensions were. I thought I had 1/2 and 3/8 settings but when it arrived I realized I had 3/8 and 1/4 settings. The plan was to mount it on the ceiling, but at almost 50 pounds I scrapped that idea and made a bracket and shelf to mount it directly to the compressor. Works like a champ. It's not that you can't hang this from the ceiling, but you definitely need a second pair of hands. If used larger than expected, the hose is obviously designed for high volume demands such as sandblasting or huge impact wrenches (e.g. 3/4" or 1" drive). The hose is thick, so using it to paint will surely give your hands a workout. Retreats well if you are patient. The hose is pretty stiff so you have to let it find its own way back to the reel. All brass connections. no leaks for me. Don't forget Teflon tape! If you're looking for a bulky device, this is a great deal. Light wear, small paint job, nailer. Maybe it's too powerful.
