Disappointed Good for power and hand tools

Very disappointed with this hose, after only 5 months and only a few uses there are already air bubbles on one end meaning it could explode at any time and damage the hose not to use.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

I've only been using this item for 4 days and the hose has a huge blister on the connector. I have used different hoses for years and have never had this problem.

Defective Item - Hand & Power Tools

Disappointed there were 2 defective hoses. The first lasted 3 weeks before a blister formed near the upset fitting, the second lasted 2 weeks before the same problem. Buy another brand.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Poor Instructions

Be careful, the end can burst!

When I bought this it was to replace one from Harbor Freight which lasted 5 years, this one lasted 6 days with light use. Just blowing sanding dust off the closet shouldn't be enough to cause it when another outlasted the restoration of cars and trucks. I chose Goodyear because of their history with tires, times are changing.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Don't buy anymore.: Power & Hand Tools

We bought these particular hoses for our European dealership last year or so and have never had any luck with them. However, the last two we bought failed in the same place, right at the fitting. Since the warranty was out, we had to splice at a repair shop to get the hose working after just a few months. However, we use tubing for commercial purposes, but it's not a fast-growing fixed-wage business. That way we don't hit our gear where air hose failure would be the norm.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Interval

Stay away! Serious security risk!

No big deal. I still have a Goodyear rubber air hose that must be almost 20 years old so I bought another one. But the quality seems to have gone down a bit. This hose will work and not leak, but it will kink very easily even at 100psi. I won't be returning it, but it's definitely not as good as it used to be. UPDATE: I downgraded my rating to one star which is nice. After half a dozen uses, this hose ended up swollen next to the fitting. I gave up immediately as it posed a serious security…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Real air hose, not junk plastic

This is a great rubber coated air hose, oil resistant and no coil memory. The only thing that consistently raises criticism is the softness of the brass tips and the possibility of air getting under the rubber. I think that's a valid observation, but easily avoided. In my opinion the most damage will happen when you screw your ends. It is ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY to use two wrenches, one to hold the end of the hose and the other to tighten the fitting. Those are pleated sleeves that hold everything

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Great price

Quality control problems. These products do not need to be shipped.

These hoses are exactly what I wanted EXCEPT. These are tough rubber hoses that can be seen in garages across America. But currently they have a flaw in their manufacturing process. I ordered 3 and returned 2. Both replacement devices have the same problem. Where the brass(?) fitting is pinched at the end of the hose, air begins to collect in a bubble. I don't bend the hose at weird angles. (Actually I have flexible fittings so there is minimal stress on the fitting.) My hoses are in a very low

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Used for the third time, just about to burst

Bought 2 of these, 1 for me and 1 for dad. My father loves quality not quantity, I learned that from him. The reviews for this product matched the quality we were looking for. After 3 uses with ALL the properties that matched the print. It is ready for immediate use (see picture). I am completely frustrated with this product and not sure if people are using it as regularly as I started using it. but 3 full days at work he is ready to go. Please replace! UPDATE: Good Year says they do not own…
