give this one 2 stars instead of 1 and bring it back to amazon as we can use it for our two tallest windows but it's not very efficient. It's better than hiring someone - something to do with climbing stairs 30 feet off the ground, he obviously can't clean corners at all and only works with large panes. As stated, does not run dry at all. We spray vinegar and water on the seals or he does nothing, no choice but to hire expensive outside window cleaners. They currently make windows that rotate in all directions, but ours are old. We hope to keep this machine and use it often to try and keep the upstairs windows clean, but spiders, mud wasps, and birds have other ideas. We do not recommend if your windows are on the 1st or even the 2nd floor and are safely accessible by moderate stairs
