Review on Outdoor Research Rocky Mountain Gaiters by Shree Carmean

Haven't worn it yet but feels snug for what an XL should be. I'm a 5'10" chubby woman with long legs and the widest part of my (upper) calves wearing jeans is 18" in circumference. 18" seems to be the widest circumference an XL size will fit ("fits"" means you can FULLY close the long velcro on the cuff that goes through the shins - see image) I suspect the gaiters need to be snug/tight to keep the snow out? Be loose, although this is my first time trying them on, although it looks easy enough to sew, need to update the size chart based on leg length and calf measurement, as they offer size L because I wear size 10 shoes the length is great (just below the knee and my inseam is 33") Note that I have never bought or worn leg warmers but will try to do that to think of updating the review when I have the opportunity to use it.
