Worked well for a while but after I adjusted the cleat position and started riding, the cleats kept slipping/spinning sideways, significantly reducing the time to attach the problematic shoe extended . No amount of tightening will solve the problem and I think I just removed the flange. which does not seem useful. The shoes were comfortable enough for the price but I cannot recommend them due to the issue I was having. I might have wanted to get a replacement to try again but unfortunately Amazon didn't offer this as an option when returning. I'll try a few other options and when I end up doing this again I'll update my review of my results. Update: After removing the spike I found that the flange was completely broken. I'm glad I couldn't find a replacement. I will try another brand and would not recommend this one.
