Thought we'd have to cut off the little metal rings on the handles. No, they are perfect for the tall glass containers we have for flour, coffee, sugar and cereal. For whole coffee beans, you'll need to tilt the jar sideways to keep them from slipping off the scoop. The top of our glass jars are small, barely big enough to fit your hand inside. However, this is acceptable as the small spoons are well finished and shiny. :)
