Review on 🔪 Powerful Precision: Blackwing White Long Point Sharpener Ensures Crisp Pencil Tips by Summer Hendricks

I want to give this sharpener more stars just because it's a Blackwing product but I don't feel it. One side sharpens wood and the other graphite. Unlike pencil shavings, it doesn't hold much. A bit difficult to open for cleaning. It gives the pencil tip an odd elongated point which I thought would break easily, but it doesn't. The pencil writes well. As long as it holds its sharp edges well, it won't dull or lose its sharpness. The reason I disagree is the inconvenience of double sharpening (wood and graphite). I suppose the idea is that your pencil will last longer. I'm not sure if that happens, especially since I use both parts every time I sharpen. Maybe I'm just trying to get the symmetry I'm familiar with. I usually look around my desk for another sharpener before grabbing this one.
