I read in the reviews that "this won't fit on the left hand side" so I ordered an OEM HD bag protector two weeks ago. Well the delivery was delayed again and I didn't want to wait another 2 weeks or more for them. So I looked at them again and saw a used returned set that looked like new. I figured that with the tools I have I could somehow assemble the left side. After loosening the pin mounting screws with a percussion tool, I was able to mount the right side with ease. On the awful left side I put the bottom bolt in and while my 2021 Heritage was on a motorcycle lift I put the bottom bolt in. I then used a jack and a 2X4 and lifted the top of the bag's left guard a bit to match the hole, put the bolt in and bingo, it's set. PITA but at a discounted return price I feel pretty good about it. If you're mechanically inclined, you can probably install them.
