Tried the second time, doesn't fit. It says it fits my year and bike model, but that's not true. I was tired of waiting and wanted to DRIVE, so I had it reworked at our workshop and put it on anyway. 😡

The right side was easy. The left side was about an inch away. I managed to assemble it but it was a struggle and I had to bend real metal. It's cheap and it works, so if you don't mind installing the left side then this might work for you.

Use these on my Heritage Classic to give me peace of mind if my bike ever falls off. The only criticism is that the left one wasn't perfectly aligned and I had to use some force to screw it on. Previously it was bolted and now it fits fine. It also looks good and appears to be well made.

I love these bars! Had to buy a longer T45 to remove the footpeg mounts (doesn't matter); but the long screws that go through the leg rests are a bit too long. I'll stop by Home Deport for a shorter one. I would recommend everyone to buy these. It's worth it!

The rods are well made and look good. The right side went through with no problems. The left side was almost an inch short. I wrapped the bar in a towel and used a jack to spread the bar apart. Read some reviews where the left side is misaligned but didn't have this or any other problem; everything fell perfectly. There is a countersunk hole in the top that attaches to the fender mount on each side and can be filled with a flat washer that is removed with the factory top bolt. Four washers are included so you don't have to use those standard washers anywhere else, and using this washer as a spacer can help avoid scratching the chrome on the mating surfaces. I just fitted these guards to my 2021 Heritage Classic (107). Everything fitted (almost) perfectly and the supplied screws fit without any problems. The only complaint I have is that the locking bar for attaching the left footpeg is offset by about 90°. I just aligned the bracket as it was and tightened the screw with red Loctite on the left side. Seems to hold the pen pretty well. I read in the reviews that "this won't fit on the left hand side" so I ordered an OEM HD bag protector two weeks ago. Well the delivery was delayed again and I didn't want to wait another 2 weeks or more for them. So I looked at them again and saw a used returned set that looked like new.
