So the adapter arrived and I knew straight away it wouldn't fit my stereo which is a newer Sony. Which is good as I wasn't expecting it. So I cut the plugs off except for the side that went into the car and connected them to the plug that came with the stereo as usual. It's not the first stereo I've installed so it didn't really matter. Then I set everything up and went to my 2009 Honda Ridgeline. All the panels removed, the old stereo pulled out and lowered, and now this adapter won't even fit on the truck! The description clearly states that it should at least fit my truck. waste of the evening. The description needs to be updated.
