Review on AGPtek SPDIF Extractor Converter Output by Jonathan Ulsth

I have a newer Roku Ultra with no optical S/PDIF out. I needed this feature for an old surround sound receiver that didn't have HDMI ports. I bought this device to hopefully give me this feature. It arrived on time according to the contract of sale. I just plugged everything in, flipped the switch to digital 5.1, and it worked right away. I tested it with 2ch Dolby Surround, 5.1ch Dolby Surround and DTS 5.1 Surround. He played great! All my cables are solid with solid connectors. There was no deterioration in image quality. Make sure Roku is set to Dolby 5.1/DTS in Settings and disable any sound mode settings in any of your Roku apps. Works like a dream! Thanks for a great product. I will buy from this company in the future.
