Review on 3M Command Plain Ceiling Hooks, 1 Pack by Marquel Rubio
Consists of 2 components - cannot support horizontal load
It's hard to tell from the product images but these hooks are made up of 2 separate components and the hook itself (image attached) inserts into the ball joint base. This means whatever you're hanging can't put side load or the hook will pop out of the connection - I've tried using them for a string of lights and they kept falling out until I finally gave up and replaced the hooks . The glue is usually good quality 3M but do not use it unless you plan to hang an item that is absolutely 100% vertical.
