Best Crimping Method I've Found

I don't work much with electronics but when I do I'm absolutely terrified of using crimping machines. Being left-handed, most crimping machines only have crimping sites for one side of the crimping machine, not the other. This makes crimping with conventional crimping pliers cumbersome and tedious for me. I end up not making a good connection or the cable just slips out when I try to crimp it. Enter this crimping method, which is by far the easiest and most secure crimping method I've ever used. They feel good in the hand, compress well with no issues, and are mostly secure. Strip the wire, insert the wire into the connector until the end of the ferrule is visible, then crimp. It is really that easy. They even have two-wire connectors (sold separately), making the 3D printer easy to use. If you're concerned that the uncrimped ends of these connectors will be round and your grip will be square, worry not as the crimped product is a square with sharp corners that will easily fit most electronics connectors. [Narration Time] These worked great even on a non-electrical project. My wife and I follow the Montessori method of raising children. We want to encourage our child to experience things for themselves. My son has small cubes with holes of different colors. We wanted to make something that could go through them, like sewing thread, so my wife suggested a 1/4 inch dowel about 2 inches long and string. I found a dowel, but there was only duct tape. We discussed how to attach the tape to the dowel. I came up with the idea of using the Ferrules connector. I drilled a hole in the center of the end of the dowel, pushed the ribbon through the connector of the same shape, threaded it through the end of the crimped connector to make sure it was seated properly, and then crimped it. I used super glue to glue the connector into the dowel and the boy turned out EXCELLENT! It's hard there because the small corners of the corrugation can dig into the wood. The flange on the end of the plug keeps the metal parts off my son and gives it a nice clean finish. 100% recommended also for non-electrical connection needs!
