Review on 📏 L.S. Starrett 56362 C11H-6-4R 6-inch Combination Square (1 unit) by Richard Edwar

Not sure if this is authentic. See photos. I've used Starrett squares in the past and they're pristine, but the one I recently ordered from Revain really wasn't of the cutting edge of workmanship or quality you'd expect when buying a $95 combo square . The square itself had some manufacturing issues and wasn't really flat as you can see from the photos. You can see a lot of daylight if you measure it from the true plane. For some, this is negligible, but some of us require more precision. It also didn't slip like the others I've used. The cast also had a small hole in the body. I could have dealt with it if it weren't for the cost and meeting expectations, but I paid for the best. I might as well buy a square from Home Depot for the quality of what I got. I hope you do better when you order.
