This product is great. It exceeded my expectations

This product is great. It exceeded my expectations. You had the choice between Miggo Splat, Manfrotto mini tripods and one of the Joby Gorillapods. Manfrotto and Jobys look more stable but look bulky when not in use when staying on camera. I didn't want to mess with the assembly/disassembly. I chose Miggo for its flexibility, weight and slim profile. I love how it can wrap around your camera or shape so it doesn't get in the way when left on the camera. When I'm shooting/carrying a camera but don't need a tripod, I give it a forward-facing trident shape. The rear-facing leg folds forward (just below the lens). Then I bend the outside legs forward until they are parallel to the back leg and the lens. It should resemble a trident. Then I bend the tips of the outer legs up 90 degrees to cut the horizontal length. It is very compact and also served as a protective bumper for the side of the lens. The folded legs also provide a stable base for mounting the camera. I used it on my Sony A7 II with a Loxia 35mm/2 manual lens (a lot of weight for that size). I've used it on slippery beach boulders, sand and countertops. I haven't tried hanging it from a tree or pole.
