This product is great. It exceeded my expectations. You had the choice between Miggo Splat, Manfrotto mini tripods and one of the Joby Gorillapods. Manfrotto and Jobys look more stable but look bulky when not in use when staying on camera. I didn't want to mess with the assembly/disassembly. This review is for the DSLR version. This is a real tripod as it only has 3 legs instead of 5 as in some photos. I was a little skeptical at first as several camera review sites didn't give this mount a particularly high rating for holding a full size DSLR and only suggested using it to mount an external flash.
