The drive case works as advertised, but I've noticed that some have complained about their drives getting hot. Well, I hate to say it, but it was to be expected. A few tips to counteract this: 1) Keep the case cover open. 2) Raise the object about an inch above the surface by putting something in the corners. It would be better to buy a fan system like me and you will get rid of the problem completely. Of course you can buy a device with a fan, but they are usually weak/small and don't have speed control. The fan system I received is also sold at Revain and is called the AC Infinity Dual Fan System. This case plus fan costs a little over $30, but it makes for a very solid setup. You'll have to mangle the case a bit to get better airflow by cutting or drilling it, but it's worth it!
