Review on X ACTO XZ3601 Knife - Enhanced Safety for Precision Cutting by Adam Hardy

I bought this X-Acto knife on the recommendation of some bloggers who do silhouettes and silhouettes because I made two silhouettes for Christmas - one for my son and one for my niece - for my mother. I'm by no means an expert on tedious cutting, but I do know that having the right tool makes the initial effort and learning the technique a lot easier. Based on their recommendations I bought this knife at a very reasonable price and when I received it I was pleased to see how sharp it was. It's long enough to feel heavy in your hand, but comfortable enough to hold like a pencil. It was really very sharp, and trimming out the lashes, lips, and bangs - and especially the "highlights" in the hair - was a lot easier with this blade. I've used other blades I just bought from the store without doing much research and I actually got a much better, more accurate cut out of them. I'm still no expert, but this newcomer has two silhouettes that clearly looked like the kids I wanted, so that should say something about this knife, right?
