available I bought this for iPad reading in bed (let's say I fell asleep while reading and dropped the iPad on my face a few times). It works, but with some limitations. First, the base is an off-center rectangle. The weight of the iPad should be directly over the large end of the rectangle. If you want to get out of bed, you can't just turn the device back and forth, because then it won't lie behind the long side and fall down. The mount should have a double ball joint, not a single one. If the stand is on the side of the bed, you won't be able to rotate the iPad far enough (at a right angle) to face you. You have to keep adjusting it and then tilt it towards you somehow. It's always at a 45Β° angle to my face. I'd rather be able to look at him directly. All in all, it holds my iPad and may have saved me from a chipped tooth or a bloody nose, so I think it's worth it.
