Update: After receiving the replacement tool I replaced the water with it. I found it difficult to use. Even with a set flow that goes up and down, you have to constantly press the start button to get it flowing. Many times I had to wait (and by that I mean hold the trigger down) for the debris to accumulate in the snorkel close enough to the handle/gun that I could pull the snorkel out of the water completely to inspect the snorkel . Gravel. With other gravel suckers I can just pinch the pipe and the heavy rocks fall, but the debris in the water doesn't fall. I also found that the corner nozzle clogs easily. Definitely not for the regular colored gravel you find in pet stores. If you have a larger aquarium, something that doesn't mind a little extra water, like 50+ gallons, this thing would be perfect. It's also probably easier to use with larger hands. I have to say it's really strong. I just can't use it. Initial Rating, 1 Star: I managed to drain a small trickle of water, but then the water flow reversed and dirty water flowed back into my tank. The theme is huge too. Small hands like mine are difficult to grasp and easy to use. I hope my replacement works and I can change my rating.
