Bought this unit 3.5 months ago. My support guarantee expired after 3 months. A few days ago I unplugged my USB device to add more movies. When I reconnected, everything went wrong. I could no longer connect to the plex. He said he had an NTP time error. Router reinstalled twice. Now it intermittently disconnects and loses signal on my Windows 10 computer. My iPad and iPhone cannot connect to it at all. They take turns saying I entered the wrong password and just turning around and saying it connects but it never happens. My devices connected to the router are working fine, which means it's not my internet. I called the company today for help. They wouldn't have helped me if I hadn't bought a $140 one-year software support guarantee. When I refused, the guy kept saying that it couldn't be a hardware problem, it was a software setting problem and that I would have to pay for this support. He didn't help me at all until I agreed to buy on warranty. I asked to speak to someone else but he kept trying to sell me a guarantee. I always thought Netgear was a good company, but after spending $450 on a router that stopped working after 3.5 months and they refused to fix it, I will never buy their product again.
