Disappointing for Accessories

I really wanted to like this headset, I really liked it, but there are many minuses and few pluses. I don't consider myself a pure music lover but I have some high quality headphones and some expensive headsets so I can definitely say the sound is good when I listen to it. the Arctis range with a suspension headband, but the front RGB lighting kills that for a big minus. You can't disable RGB on console and that's a big minus for me, although I mostly play on PC I need the flexibility as I play Genshin Impact a lot on PS4. I'm sticking with my Arctis 7 in this case. Comfort is good but the oddly shaped earbuds have the same problem as the old Arctis, my right earlobe touched the inner wall of the driver and they clamp a little tighter than the earbuds, so fit or not , is a bit of a slip for me but tolerable. Next is the sound, those 40mm drivers are very weak, I spent maybe 4 hours tweaking the V-Curve and using the V-Curve worked decently, but DTS is awful, seriously, It's bad. Bass is natural and game-only, and fps is good there, but there are better options for that, so it remains a niche option. Don't even think about music, they're not good for music at all. Also, I bought them, I didn't get them for free while I see that most of the people here got them for free and skipped all those reviews. Finally the deal breaker. The volume is very low, I mean to the point that they are either just tuned down to save battery life for this RGB or my pair is defective. I tested them and all of my wireless headsets got a lot louder. Arctis 7, Arctis 1, g933, Astro A20, A50, even old g930. I don't see what Logitech missed in them, they have the look, feel and battery life with all the sounds down and the volume down. Either these drivers are really bad, or my pair is defective, either way they come back. Do yourself a favor, any of the above headsets are way better. Battery life is useless with RGB sucking 10 hours on console and PC just to turn it off. Niche usage is just fps and streamer because RGB doesn't make sense. Logitech note, you got most things right, but the price is very high for the sound quality, it's poor and the volume is too low. Post a firmware update to allow the RGB disable period so console users don't have to deal with it. Arctis One is fine. I know this review will not be popular but it has to be said. Edit: 10/23/2020 I can confirm they are upset. With the preamp on the PC I increased the dB to 1.5 and the volume is 20% higher than the default settings and of course the battery drains faster. For the price, that's a big minus for me. You have to keep them between 80-100% on PS4 or you won't hear any detail. Logitech, if you're seeing this, it's time to add this preamp to your software as your drivers are capable of it. They are perfect for comfort either they are great for small ears or for medium ears they are almost on the ear. The volume level is the deciding factor and I don't have to preamp and bypass the software to crank it up. Sorry, this might be the last Logitech headset I ever buy in favor of HyperX Can II Wireless. Also, skip any of those Vine reviews, these guys are not savvy. I have no ideal as to why Vine reviews are even considered.
