Review on AntennaMastsRus - Power Antenna Mast for Lexus LX470 (1998-2007) & Toyota Land Cruiser (01-1998-2008) by Joseph Katipally

Great product but it took less than 5 minutes to install as advertised. In my Land Cruiser 07 I had to remove all motor cables for the motorized mast which I replaced with a fixed antenna. I've tried just cutting the cable along with the bent mast and screwing in a new antenna, but that left a horrible screeching/humming sound from the motor trying to pull the cable in every time I parked the car. The easiest way to get rid of it is to take out the antenna motor and disassemble the entire component to remove the rest of the cable. Now it works great, no creaking or humming.
