Dune Buggy steering wheel adapter for some time. The slot adapter is covered by a cheap-looking tin cup. This is combined with an even cheaper looking spacer to adapt a 5 bolt steering wheel to a 3 bolt spline adapter. In the past all aftermarket steering wheels were fitted with 3 bolts, today 5 and 6 bolt steering wheels are trending, but multi-tooth adapters are still 3 bolts. , two inches and one inch - back to back. One inch was reversed and the spline adapter mounting plate was removed to allow the spline adapter to be mounted on a two inch spacer. The only function of the 1 inch gasket n is to replace the cheap sheet metal cover on the slot adapter itself. Five of the steering wheel mounting holes on the 1" spacer were drilled to .188" so I could use a center drill to locate the holes. I also had to grind down the spline adapter to remove the protrusions in the 1" spacer. The two spacers were aligned and glued together. I then used a center drill to set the exact center for the 10-32 tap. In the third picture you can see the results. Then drill with a #21 drill bit and press. to the steering wheel hub.
