These little things are good. Strong. I use them to hold my iPhone, keys, and any metal you want quick access to, but not to clutter up the center console. You didn't damage my iPhone. I was hesitant to use such a strong magnet on the back of the phone but had no problems. My wife also has one in her car for the iPhone. Also, the glue never failed. summer or winter. You don't need to use the included bracket and screw. 6 stars!
