Good product with lots of extra metal plates but magnet could be little stronger to hold my phone I 6+ . It holds my iPhone 6+, but if I bump into it or hit the brakes, the phone detaches from the magnet. The tape on the back of the cymbals is very strong and none of my cymbals came off any of my equipment.

Ideal for mobile phones. The magnet is very strong and you should use a heavy plate on the phone case. I bought it to use with an iPad mini which is much larger than a regular phone. While it worked well with the iPad mini, it was too heavy and wanted to fall over if I touched even one corner. But the product works as advertised and is a very good buy.

These little things are good. Strong. I use them to hold my iPhone, keys, and any metal you want quick access to, but not to clutter up the center console. You didn't damage my iPhone. I was hesitant to use such a strong magnet on the back of the phone but had no problems. My wife also has one in her car for the iPhone. Also, the glue never failed. summer or winter. No amount of 3M tape, other brands of double sided tape, or glue gun is going to keep this product sucking on my dash for more than a few days to a few weeks. I had to use liquid super glue. The gel super glue worked for a few months but ended up not working. The magnets are strong and this is a great product if you can make it stick. The tape that came with it stuck to my phone with no problems. I have a Chevrolet S10 2001.

I used a slider model like this on my last cell phone. It worked really well, but both the base and connector (the part that plugs into your phone) were bulky and you had to be precise when placing your phone on the base. It works the same, except it's a magnet. The connector part on my phone is much thinner and is the best feature in my opinion.
