Review on 💾 Inateck 2.5 to 3.5 SSD Mounting Bracket with SATA Cable and Power Splitter Cable - ST1002S by Tyra Smith

This beautiful piece of kit suffers from one important point: the outer screw holes are not standard 6x32 3.5" screw holes! These are 2.5" M3 screws for HD/Optical/Floppy drives and therefore will not work with Dell Toolless Drive Brackets as the holes are too small and the pins will not fit the bracket. Time to get the drill. Damn. Folks, it's not hard to get it right. MAKE IT PHYSICALLY LIKE 3.5" HD. Same screw arrangement, same screw size! EDIT: I'm sorry I didn't cover the good stuff enough. Nice thoughtful mount you need for installation, packed in a box, and it's well made. If you don't need to use an existing tool-less mount, or your existing mount has screws that you can replace, this is a good choice. I'm a techie, me need a stock of these things to have on hand to replace internal SSD hard drives and I work a lot with Dell Optiplex machines that use this particular Dell mount and it's frustrating to be so close and so far too its of a perfect choice.i used corsair but it comes with cables which is good.make holes for screws 6x32 and i will buy 10pcs a month.
