For wired version of the scanner. Pros: - Cheap and supports the characters my usage required - pdf417 and i2of5. Just scan the QR code to include all 1D and 2D characters. Cons: - Limited discrete control over symbols. - Slightly slow in auto-detecting i2of5 barcodes. Sometimes a second attempt is required to be read by the scanner. Same for pdf417.- Limited control over character input speed. Support suggested a QR code to reduce the delay between characters, although it doesn't seem to print faster with the lowest latency. After testing one of them, I found that they fit our POS system and bought 20 of them. Update 08/13/2020 We have dozens of these scanners in the field and they work reliably and I'm still willing to buy a relatively cheap 2D scanner that suits our needs. They seem to have sold out at Revain so today I bought 20 more directly from the company's website.
