Great scanner for the price.

I bought this scanner to scan Covid test tube barcodes and it works fantastic. I literally just plugged the USB cable into my computer and scanned the barcode and it just worked like that. Very simple and easy to use, no problems. Much cheaper than some of the other big brand options and works just as well.

Scan Success Rate - 0 - 5%

This device will not scan barcodes that are close together. Serial number, part number, MAC address codes can be within 2-4 inches. This machine had trouble scanning and after 15-20 tries I gave up. If it were scanned it would always be the top code, not the middle or bottom code. Inatek told me that I had to hide codes that I didn't want to scan. I tried it, the success rate was still around 1-4%. I tried different settings for the scanning beam, but it was always a wide beam (1 inch). I…

Great scanner so far.

Like many others, we bought this scanner for production use. The scanner worked fine for a few months and now it doesn't. It still scans correctly. It will be successfully paired with the dongle or other Bluetooth device. It also connects via USB. However, it no longer sends any data when reading a barcode. I know this still happens because I was able to factory reset it and also connect to different Bluetooth devices. But as a keyboard device, it no longer works. I even tried to reset the…

Good price could be better

For wired version of the scanner. Pros: - Cheap and supports the characters my usage required - pdf417 and i2of5. Just scan the QR code to include all 1D and 2D characters. Cons: - Limited discrete control over symbols. - Slightly slow in auto-detecting i2of5 barcodes. Sometimes a second attempt is required to be read by the scanner. Same for pdf417.- Limited control over character input speed. Support suggested a QR code to reduce the delay between characters, although it doesn't seem to print
