Review on SHIMANO SM RT56 Brake 6 Bolt 160 Mm by Anthony Cayton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality rotors, smooth and straight

Good quality characteristic of Shimano. These brake discs arrived in perfect condition and are perfectly finished. I have 180mm in the front and 160mm in the rear, both of excellent quality and finish. Polymer pads only _____________________________ Quiet, smooth and powerful. Once broken in, these rotors produce quiet, squeak-free stops during the break-in process. There is no strange vibration or jitter as the surface is smooth. The stops are strong enough to push a mountain bike's front wheel over gravel. ____________________________ My setup includes two Shimano m375 calipers on universal mount adapters, Shimano BR56 rotor 180mm front, 160mm rear. Shimano universal brake cables made of stainless steel and Shimano T-Type brake levers. This setup costs less than $50 per wheel and has enough power for my sturdy single speed 29er.
