Review on 🖍️ 12-Piece Essentials Sketching Pencil Set by Royal & Langnickel - SPEN-12 by Karla Richter

I had high hopes for this pencil set because it contained some pencils that I don't have. were in previous pencil sets - I think the darkest ones I've had were 2B or 4B? And they went all the way up to 6B - and I love how the B pencils get a lot softer and darker the further down the scale you go. Unfortunately, there was no noticeable difference between the 6H and 6B on this pencil set. I need softer and darker pencils to blend well but these didn't do it. I made a chart by coloring a square with each pen in turn. put the same pressure on each of them. There really wasn't much of a difference. I then tried shading the squares to see if they blended well or smudged and you could still see all the pencil marks. ON EVERY. I don't expect the H's to blend in at all, but the grid on all the B's should at least have started to smudge. The way I paint is mainly made up of tones and color differences, ranging from very light to very dark. Basically I use my stump to blend everything together and alternate between my stump and my rubber band to create a real drawing, bringing out the highlights and deepening the shadows. For me, these pens don't differ enough in hardness. However, I'll keep it to myself, because I just don't feel like
