After 3 months as a picky and discerning aquarist, I mostly rely on Seachem as my favorite brand to start, care for and enjoy my new/favorite hobby. The Seachem Headstart Conditioning Pack is the best way to get any aquarium running smoothly with little to no effort. Inside the box are 3 bottles of their finest Prime/Stability/Clarity products. Here's the routine: 1. Add the dressing to the water before it goes into the tank for best results. Follow the detailed instructions for your specific tank volume. 2. Then add "Stability" to start cycling the aquarium. You can add fish soon after, but make sure you keep doing this for 1 more week. Clarity is best used sparingly for the purest water, at least once a week or maybe twice a month. Remember, the smaller the tank, the longer this pack will last. For me 100ml each for my 3 new tanks lasts at least a few months or maybe longer. I weaned myself from overusing Clarity by adding Seachem Purigen to my Penguin 150 filter; I now only use it right after the weekly water change. Do yourself a favor and personally add this set to your shopping cart. I intend to continue the hobby for a long time and I am confident that Seachem will be part of my future expansion into the fish hobby.
