Unfortunately, even the flat sides of this Nalgene rectangle are slightly concave, so stacking them on top of each other isn't sturdy enough to be practical. When I tried, the stack started to wobble. Although this Nalgene square bottle is far superior to the round bottles in terms of space efficiency, I still can't keep my kitchen space as tight as I had hoped. I love these bottles and would like to have many of them. They are strong, clean, odorless and have the added benefit of not rolling away if tipped over or dropped. They're the perfect size for a fluffy pancake mix recipe. Removing food from the center hole requires some patience, but it's a minor inconvenience compared to all the great features of these rectangular bottles.
