I have a 25 lb pup that I take everywhere. She always wants to sit on my lap while I drive and/or tries to sit on my shoulders. I've never seen another dog try to wrap his body around your shoulders like a scarf, and as weird as it sounds, it's really dangerous. I paid $10 for a red Blueberry dog car seat harness and it fits my 2018 Honda Civic perfectly. I flick it into the back seat and adjust it so she can reach both windows but not the front one and she still has plenty of room. I attach it to her with a padded strap for added protection. Don't worry about her jumping out the window, being thrown through the windshield in an accident, changing gears, or distracting me. I think this is a great product. I will definitely buy Blueberry again, the color is really bright.
