Overpriced due to poor quality and design

I ordered this pepper mill after seeing Ina Garten use it and thought it looked cool. However, after a year of use, I would say that there are serious quality and design flaws. On the one hand, the ceramic grinder becomes blunt very quickly, since the pepper is now very difficult to grind. The second disadvantage of the design is that if the ceramic nozzle gets stuck in the peppercorns, the lid with the peppercorns will fly off and the peppercorns will fly apart. I am now very careful to place the grinder on a stable surface when using the collection vessel, but then grinding is very uncomfortable. The lifetime warranty is utter rubbish because you have to send the grinder to them before they decide whether to replace it. This coffee grinder is overpriced for a Taiwanese product. I wish I could stick with my previous grinder from Unicorn Mills which is made in Italy and USA and lasted ten years: https://www.amazon.com/Unicorn-Magnum-Plus-Pepper-Black/dp/ B0000CFB4N
