My son is pale and I have to worry about sun protection for him all the time. Sure I use sunscreen like crazy but in water it washes off after a while (and some brands are quicker than others) leaving it unprotected. I tried to get him to wear t-shirts in the water but they get heavy when wet and he was always pissed. I think he'll take it a lot better! Of course, I still have to keep an eye on his face, but at least his shoulders and stomach are protected. I love this pattern - sharks - and it looks incredibly cute on it.
