The only problem was that I had to cut off the first 20 cm of the lace because there wasn't enough glue at the end to stick well. Otherwise follow the instructions. I used regular Zippo lighter fluid and a laundry towel to clean the edge of the door. Does not damage paint and removes dirt and oil. It also removes glue very well. The tape is elastic, so stretch it slightly during installation to ensure better adhesion and avoid wrinkling. Once installed, they are almost invisible. Much better in my opinion than the chrome/black/clear plastic strips you see in auto parts stores.
