Better quality and thicker material than expected for the price. Problem with it = The neck is too wide and stiff for cat necks unless they are thicker/bigger. Was able to close it on the side, loose (unsafe) and he tolerates it because he's cool, but done right, it gags him and he can't move which is a safety issue. Great for dogs. Not for cats as they advertise. Need to return or redo. It is actually not a vest style but a normal harness style. Cats have very sensitive necks, so this is a problem. I don't think it will pull on his neck, but even to put it on it needs to be a lot looser than it needs to be for safety and tight. I worry it will put pressure on him and hurt him even if he gets used to it. He wanted to go for a walk in it, was leashed, tried and failed. It was too uncomfortable. Excellent quality. Good for dogs or maybe bigger cats (I weigh 10-12 lbs, neck 8.5 inches).
