The jacket replaces the harness for our cat

Small size was bought for our elderly 9kg cat to travel in the car while moving house. Putting a jacket on a cat is quick and easy. This replaced some sort of seat belt that was temporarily out of place. I always had to learn to put on a leash as it was rarely used. If we compare a jacket to a harness, for us the jacket wins.

First walk for cats

The cat seems to like this set well. Which is weird because he hated the others I tried. Until I pulled it out. This is a very slim 6 year old cat weighing 9-9.5 pounds, the small harness was almost too small. Our other 21 year old 12 pound cat didn't even come close. I will order one size larger. Removed a star for size, but then added a STAR back. I can be a bit picky. Will repost if we run into trouble or our little Houdini finds a way out! Photos show the difference in size and weight. i…

The velcro pulls the hair out but he likes it compared to the previous one

I like that it's bright and reflective! I'm not worried about not being seen when he goes out at night. Another plus is that it fits him much better than the previous one I had and doesn't need to be worn over the head. However, my biggest issues with this vest stem solely from the fact that it uses Velcro. He looks like he's tearing his hair out, suddenly he's really stuck to the carpet. Maybe I have to be more careful when putting it on, he really likes to fight me a bit. I'm concerned that…

Easy to remove, better than a dog harness

Bought for our daughter's cat after she moved in with us. Our 3 cats wear a small dog harness so I tried ours on their cat. That does not work! He's an escape master. Apparently I didn't tighten the harness tight enough and he managed to get out of it on our second attempt to walk with him. Now she's down, just like me. he's afraid he might wriggle out of it. The neck is too wide and thick/stiff for cats. Outstanding quality for the price.

Better quality and thicker material than expected for the price. Problem with it = The neck is too wide and stiff for cat necks unless they are thicker/bigger. Was able to close it on the side, loose (unsafe) and he tolerates it because he's cool, but done right, it gags him and he can't move which is a safety issue. Great for dogs.
