Awesome little actuators. I’ve been looking for a strong, yet small device to release a door when it receives a trigger from a wireless controller. these locks work PERFECT! Surprisingly powerful, strong build (everything is metal) and the latch can be used from the side as well. see pics.I took it apart and it’s a very simple system, but seems like it will last a long time. Lots a wasted space inside the housing which I’m going to use to hide some electronics hopefully. Using a small 12v Milwaukee M12 battery, the latch releases even with some resistance on it, exactly what I needed. I especially like how it pushes the latch out when it releases. like a spring’d pop.
