Buy the right size and they fit great and can be put on and taken off. They are perfect for the two purposes I use mine for. 1st - I wear them kitesurfing when launching from rocky spots. Great for protecting your feet when something gets a hairball on takeoff or landing and you don't really have to sacrifice feeling when driving. 2nd is perfect for snorkeling/diving. They don't take up extra room in my fins and they're great for when you need to paddle between dives or when embarking and disembarking on a rocky shoreline.
