Review on WIMAXIT M1560CT3: Portable Non-Glare Touchscreen with HDMI and IPS Compatibility by Fred Hawk

Great portable monitor!

BoxedMonitorSlim, flexible plastic storage case that can be bent to use as a stand.USB-A Male HDMI to Mini-HDMI CableUSB-A to USB-C CableUSB-C to USB C-CableOn the monitor itself, there are two connectors UCB-C-input connectors, Mini-HDMI connector and Mini-UCB-OTG connector on the right side. On the left is the power button, a slider for menu controls (volume, brightness, etc.), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. What I like: A network adapter was included, which was very surprising. Very useful for connecting devices that do not provide power to the screen, e.g. B. via the HDMI connection. Most portable monitor panels I've seen rely solely on a power input device. The speaker is surprisingly good. Now that sounds a bit tinny, but I found it better than I expected. It's not super stereo by any means, and the sound was a little broken at high volumes, but it works well for such a small speaker. I wouldn't watch a high quality action movie on these speakers, but they will definitely surprise you. The display itself is sharp and clear. Upon initial connection, it only took a few seconds for my laptop (running Windows 11) to figure out what it was and the screen came alive. No additional drivers were needed. I've watched a few quick movies and the refresh rate seems very good, no noticeable lag or artifacts when the picture changes rapidly. I experimented a bit with the touchscreen, which seems pretty responsive. Of course, I prefer a Windows keyboard and mouse over a touchscreen, but that would be nice if you're using smaller phones and/or tablets for the display. I also liked that it has standard 75x75mm VESA mounting holes, so you can mount it on a wall, on a portable stand, or anything that fits in the mounting holes. A very nice addition. Again, none of the previous LCD monitors had this. What I don't like: The supplied case has no real protective value because it has no padding. Also, the flimsy plastic will crack over time and become useless as a stand, let alone a screen protector. I prefer a basic plastic tablet positioning stand and a softer laptop sleeve for protection. They offer at least some shock protection, as well as a kickstand that won't wear out after a few dozen uses. For settings on the monitor, use the rocker (up, down and press). Personally, I'd prefer three buttons (one for menu/select, the rest for up/down), but I understand that this will take up more space. It's more of a personal grudge, but once you get the hang of it, it works well enough. All in all, this is a great little monitor. The display is crisp, response times are good, and it's easy to take with you when you need a second screen on the go. I definitely recommend this monitor.
