I used it on my smooth calf leather Celine bag. It's in pretty good condition but light in color so I wanted to prep it for Spring/Summer and try to minimize the appearance of scuffs on it. Firstly the description of this product seems inaccurate as it comes in a tin (as shown in the photo) and not pump form so obviously you can't shake it or anything. The product isn't sealed either so be careful when you open it, there was quite a bit of product on the underside of the lid and it got a little dirty when I first opened it (I didn't open it straight after I received it). so it couldn't be that - for the movements in shipping it sat on the counter for a day or two - enough time to settle down.) The smell is not overpowering and the texture is a light liquid cream, similar to a liquid moisturizer , if you will. I used a lint free cloth and attached it to my bag, it kinda wetted it but the scuffs still remained. It absorbs very quickly, which I liked. I used a little more on the scuffs but they are still pretty obvious (these aren't deep scuffs). I guess it's useful for touch ups but I expected more from a product considering the Colonyl Water Spot Spray is a must have for all my bags. I don't know if it's due to a specific type of leather, but I've also used some on my Hermes bag and wasn't impressed. The price is good, so there's no harm in trying.
